It is a little warm for summer. Because it doesn’t have a firm edging to pull on, it is a little stretchy when you make the bed.

I love this waffle bed blanket. I was needing a light blanket to use on top of my linen sheets for the summer, and I’m so glad I ... decided to try it. It is just heavy enough to give some weight to the linen sheet, but light enough to keep me cool on these summer nights. It is beautiful in its simplicity and I don’t feel like I need to layer anything on top of it when the bed is made. It has been through the washer/dryer a couple of times now and it is just as perfect as the day it arrived. I plan on layering it on top of a heavier comforter come winter, it is to lovely not be out for show. Super happy with this purchase.

It’s pretty heavy and looks great on the bed with like colored sheets. Hard to tell if it’s very warm — I’m using it mainly for ... decorative purposes.
I recently purchased this blanket after falling in love with it at my local Parachute store. I keep it folded at the end of my King ... sized bed. We keep the AC turned up and during the night it can get a little chilly, so it’s perfect to pull up and around me when that happens. It has a nice, weighty feel to it without being oppressively heavy. It’s also dreamy as a napping blanket, for when you don’t want to actually get under the covers, but crave a nap on your bed. I wish it came in other sizes so I could get them for my kids!
