It is no exaggeration that I have been searching for a comfortable pillow for years. I have purchased more expensive down pillows and they turned out to be junk. I ordered this pillow with the expectation of sending it back. I ordered the goose down firm standard pillow. I’m here to say that my search is over! I love this pillow. It is so comfortable and yet gives me the support I need. I’m thinking about ordering one or two more as back ups. Thank you!! Laura Laura

No issues. Not sure what makes a great protector, but it seems just fine. Seems to work well with the down medium fill pillow.

I didn't even know this was a thing. But it is, and for good reason! I like to wash it to keep my actual pillow free of my occasional drool and sweat- and for longevity of my new pillow.
