A very attractive serving bowl. It is obvious that it is handmade. The wood grain is handsome. It is too large to be a display piece in most homes, but I put it in an open shelf under my butcher block, and the first person who saw it immediately went to view it and commented how beautiful it is. It will be a wonderful dish for serving salads at dinner parties.
Bought it on sale. Unfortunately the one is the lightest colour way & has really ugly tiny black dots and marks the size of fingernails all over (inside, outside, & edges). Kind of looks like embedded mold. Was going to be a gift. Now I don’t know what to do with it. Thought of putting food in it is very unappetizing & the blemishes are very loud looking.
