Your bedroom should be a place of tranquility and rest. It should be a space where you can recharge every night and feel refreshed every morning. And guess what? Color plays an important role in creating the right vibe in your bedroom.

This season, we’re gravitating towards neutral colors. They are timeless and will keep your home feeling classic, fresh, and clean. They provide a versatile backdrop that allows you to play with different textures and patterns without overwhelming the space. If you are looking to play with a neutral color scheme but don’t know where to start you’ve come to the right place. We will explore three different ways of styling your bedroom with some of our customer's favorite neutrals.

Monochromatic Styling

Are you a fan of the "go-big or go-home" mentality? Well, we have a design idea that perfectly matches your bold attitude – the monochromatic look for your bedroom!

A monochromatic style means sticking to a single color throughout your bedroom. This can help create a more minimalist and contemporary look. To achieve this look, first choose a neutral color such as cream, white, or bone and begin to incorporate it into every element of the bedroom. This can include the wall color, the curtains, bedding, and bedroom accessories such as throw pillows and blankets.

If changing up the entire room feels daunting an easy way to achieve a monochromatic look on a smaller scale is with monochromatic bedding. In the bedroom, your bed is a focal point and changing your sheets, pillowcases, and duvet cover can do wonders for helping you achieve your desired aesthetic. Try our Brushed Cotton Venice Set in the color Bone for a sophisticated and refined look.

Tonal Dressing

Not into monochrome, but still want a cohesive look in your bedroom? Tonal dressing might be the perfect solution for you! It's all about playing with different shades and tones in the same color family to create a harmonious and relaxing vibe in your space.

Achieving a tonal style is all about dressing your bedroom in one beloved color palate. This means combining different shades of the same hue for a cohesive and calming look. For example, a bone, cream and white color combination is a dynamic and serene look. Make your bed in a soft White Linen Sheet Set and layer it with a dreamy cream-colored Sateen Duvet Cover. Add a throw blanket like our Oversized Rib Knit Throw in a complementary shade of white to complete the look. The key is to experiment with different textures and finishes, such as our Waffle Cotton Throw or a Linen Duvet Cover, to add depth and interest.

A Pop of Color

Are you drawn to neutral color schemes but still crave a little bit of color in your life? Don't worry, we've got you covered! The solution is simple: a pop of color.

To strike the perfect balance, we suggest going for bright and bold hues like cobalt or sienna, and using them sparingly throughout your space. Keep the core elements of your bedroom neutral with bedding and rugs in soothing tones, while using the pop of color as accent pieces in things like throw pillows and wall art. Our Vintage Linen Body Pillow Cover will add a playful pop of blue while our Vintage Linen Bed Cover adds a rustic touch to any bed dressing. Additionally, both of these elements have versatile uses and can be easily rearranged.

It's all about finding that perfect balance between neutral and bold, and creating a space that reflects your unique personality and style. So go ahead, add a little bit of color to your life and see how it transforms your bedroom into a calming and vibrant sanctuary!
