The Parachute team was so excited to immerse themselves in the local Nashville community when opening our latest store at The Gulch – especially the vibrant music, culture, and food! This is our largest store yet, featuring a wide range of products for every room in the home, and the neighborhood adds to the store’s cozy feeling of home.
We talked to Nicole Collins, Director of Retail People Ops, about what customers can expect from Parachute in Nashville, upcoming events, and her favorite places to eat and drink nearby.
Congrats on opening the 17th Parachute store! Where can we find it?
We’ve just added a store in Nashville, Tennessee! Come visit us at The Gulch at 412 11th Ave South, Nashville, TN 37203.
This is the largest store yet – it seems like they keep getting bigger and bigger! What kind of experience can shoppers expect when they visit?
This store has a dedicated space to showcase products for every room in the home, and we want it to feel like you’re inside the warm home of a dear friend. A cozy fireplace and sitting area welcomes you as you enter, then you can peruse our core collection of bedding, the Eco Mattress, bed frames and nightstands. The bath area features a unique marble sink with an integrated basin and backsplash where you can test the absorbency and feel of our towels. The kitchen area showcases our beautiful and functional tabletop assortment and features a Terra Kaffe TK 01 coffee maker, where we’ll be serving coffee made with locally roasted beans. You’re invited to sit down with the team to work through swatches, color palettes, and textures to achieve the space of your dreams with the help of our experienced design associates. This space also has ample room for our expanding wearables selection and features two private fitting rooms so you get comfortable trying on our robes and loungewear.
Are there any special events or promotions to celebrate the store opening?
Yes! We really want to get to know the locals and connect with our community in Nashville. We’re kicking off opening weekend with coffee from Coffee Cart Nashville and treats from Dozen Bakery in store on Friday. On Saturday, we’re offering complimentary chain stitching by Ranger Stitch and drinks from WithCo Cocktails – and it wouldn’t be a party in Nashville without a little live music! Saturday night we will host Drake Margolnick in our cozy space for an intimate concert.

What local Nashville eats / drinks did you try while you were building out the store?
We love Barista Parlor for our morning coffee and our neighbors, Burger Republic, for lunch. Another great spot our team loved is Otaku Ramen! At dinnertime, we like to mosey over to Virago for some delicious sushi, followed by drinks and games at Pins Mechanical and live music at Station Inn. For dessert at any time of the day – Nashville Sundae Club is a block away!
This is the first Parachute store in the southeast region of the US – what drew the team to Nashville?
Nashville has always been a destination for a diverse range of music, culture, and food. The Gulch provides a space that is more than just a neighborhood, it’s just like when we invite our friends over – you can enjoy local art, listen to music, grab a bite to eat or even enjoy some quality time with your furry friends (they have the neighborhood’s first public dog park!). We look forward to deepening our connection with our existing customers and building a relationship with those new or unfamiliar to the brand.
What’s next for Parachute in Tennessee?
We are so excited to be opening in Nashville at The Gulch. Tennessee is a new market for us and we are so excited to have the opportunity to connect with our customers IRL. We’re going to take our customers' lead and see what happens next for us in Tennessee, but in the meantime we’re excited to meet our neighbors in Nashville!
