The new Parachute for Crate and Barrel collection launches today and will be available online and in select Crate and Barrel stores. We are thrilled to share our love of premium quality textiles with new customers. We worked together for well over a year to curate and develop the perfect assortment of bedding and bath essentials that will take bedroom design to a new level.
What essentials are included in the collection?
The collection features our most unique and loved fabrics including Brushed Cotton and Cloud Cotton Bedding, Waffle as well as Classic Robes and Towels, Utility in Down and Down Alternative and our eco-friendly Mattress. We wanted to share our premium quality, responsibly sourced fabrics to help expand Crate and Barrel’s offerings.
How did the Parachute for Crate and Barrel Collection come together?
“I’ve been a long time customer of Crate and Barrel. Actually, the first time I bought furniture for my apartment was at Crate and Barrel and it left a lasting impression” says Ariel Kaye, Parachute Founder and CEO. “After our initial meeting with the brand, I immediately felt connected to how they think about their customers, brand and product quality. I think we created something really special together.”
Tell us more about the exclusive colors?
Amy Hoban, our Chief Creative Officer shares, “this collaboration was inspired by the California coast. We worked closely with Crate and Barrel to develop an oceanfront palette – all colors exclusive to this partnership. We landed on beautiful blue tones – Ocean, Mist, Marine and Pool – that remind us of the crashing waves and days on the sand in Venice Beach. These beautiful hues will give you tranquil vacation vibes.”
What’s the best way to style the new colors?
As with all Parachute essentials, the collection is designed to be mixed and matched! Per Amy, “The oceanfront palette is a beautiful complement to white or light colored bedding. Personally I love an all-white, super soft, Brushed Cotton Bed with the Cloud Cotton Quilt in Ocean for a pop of color.”
