You heard that right – the cloud-like fluffiness of our new Cotton Puff Comforter is all thanks to Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified recycled polyester fill.

This gorgeous and lofty comforter is warm but not too heavy, made for year-round use and held together by a 100% organic brushed cotton shell. No layering or hassling with duvet covers required – it’s a statement piece on its own with an accentuated shape, and the gathered pintuck stitch adds a pleated look to each square.

Sleep soundly knowing that your comforter is helping divert waste. We even did the math so you don’t have to: a Full/Queen size will save approximately 95 plastic water bottles from landfills, while the King/Cal King size will save approximately 113 – that’s a lot of water bottles!

Now, what is Global Recycled Standard certification? GRS is an international standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled input, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. They want to increase the use of recycled materials in products and reduce the harmful social, environmental, and chemical impacts of production.

They’re doing important work to help assure that certified final products are using materials that are recycled and processed more sustainably, as well as tracking and tracing these recycled materials. We’re so excited that the Cotton Puff Comforter is our first product with GRS certified fill, and we’re looking forward to working with them on future product launches as part of our sustainability goals.
