The pieces are meant to be worn together as a set or mixed and matched (just like all our essentials) for any occasion or look. We love the comfy look of the sweats. Tell us more about the inspiration behind the silhouette?
We wanted to apply the same ethos of timeless, quality textiles and apply that to our apparel. A crew sweatshirt and sweatpant are a classic, casual sportwear silhouette and we were looking to create a clean, modern look. We added details like a 1x1 rib trim at the neck, cuffs and hem as well as top stitching details and side seam on the pant to elevate the sweats. We also went with a relaxed dropped shoulder detail that creates a more contemporary look!
We are loving the new color palette. How did you land on these hues?
Raisin is brand new to our palette – the sweats are actually the first pieces in this color and you’ll be seeing more of it soon! We love the warmth of this brown and it's an inviting and flattering color on so many different people. Fawn and Coal are key neutrals from bedding and our Linen Lounge that we wanted to include in this new collection. They’re versatile to mix and match – with each easy to pair with things you already have.
How do you see people wearing these in day to day life?
The fabric is so soft and cozy as we move into the cooler months. I love wearing the full set (top and bottom) while at home and for casual days where you are running errands. I also love that you can throw on the sweatshirt with anything in your closet to keep you feeling warm and comfy. It goes with everything!
If you were to mix and match the sweat pieces what would you pair them with?
A favorite look is the sweatpant paired with a turtleneck or mock neck top and a shirt jacket layered over it. Very chic! I also love the sweatshirt with our Linen Lounge Pant or Short. These looks are all really cute and stylish with comfy footwear like sneakers, Birkenstocks, Shearling Wool Clogs or a pair of Suede Slippers!
