Love the soft, drapey material, glad I bought the robe on discount, but it runs small. I have 30” hips and 40” waist. I bought size medium per the size chart and it doesn’t close well around my hips. I think I could easily flash someone the way it barely closes.
After reading the comments I felt like I should’ve sized up to a large but in the end got a medium, my usual size. I’m glad I did as it is true to size. I actually bought the linen robe for a friend in large and tried it on to compare. The arms were way too long and I looked like I was wearing a big potato sack so really happy I went with the medium. For reference, I’m 5’4 and a size 8 in clothing. The shoulders fall exactly where they should and the arms a bit over my hands. If the robe shrinks a bit in the wash, size should be perfect. The bottom falls 3” below my knees. I’m currently 6 months pregnant and am still able to close the robe comfortably. I feel like it will be better when I’m at my usual weight and shape. My preference is to lounge with the robe over clothing so I don’t tend to stress about the robe coming open or not being oversized enough as to hide everything. It is unisex so I wasn’t expecting it to be tailored or sexy. It’s fine for a laid back, relaxed look. I rolled up the sleeves and they did not come undone and I think it looked good that way. I am pretty high waisted and the belt is a tad low but it doesn’t show once I actually close the belt. The only small annoyance is that the belt turns and moves a lot in the big hoops. The pocket placement is fine. I can comfortably put my hands in the pockets but have a hard time reaching the bottom. I have other robes with pockets on the outside front and they are usually too high to rest your hands in. The fabric seems pretty delicate but that was obviously going to be the case. I got this on sale but would not pay full price for it since the fabric doesn’t seem very sturdy. Time will tell. I think it’s pretty comfortable and light and will be useful all year long. Just maybe not in extreme summer heat.
While I do love parts of the Cloud Cotton Robe, the sizing is much small than I expected. I bought this for a friend who is smaller than the model used for the sizing illustration and it is much too small. Unfortunately, because the color has been discontinued Parachute was unwilling to help rectify the situation. I would 100% recommend, but size up - especially if you are buying something that can't be returned.
I love the soft material and the flattering look of this robe, but the label indicated to tumble dry low and my robe unfortunately shrank a full size. Maybe order a size or two up?
The material is great, and i love the color, but the sleeves were awkwardly short, very different from the picture and sadly no sleeve length noted in description
Nothing special, just a regular bath robe in my opinion doesn’t live up the hype I’ve been hearing.
I love the Cloud Cotton Robe and the colors/fabric, so soft and airy. (Buy a size larger to allow for shrinkage!) But the Cloud Cotton Robe that I ordered/received recently had a STRONG "oily" smell. I aired it out for several weeks; the smell did not disappear. I washed it in gentle detergent; the smell is still noticeable when wearing the robe. I love how it feels and fits, but the smell detracts from the experience.
Yu didn't send ANY of the 'PerSoNal Msgs' I placed on my PurChases; for NONE of Three (3) of the Orders placed.. Was Disappointed.. Also, a few of them; looked 'FADED' (in colour); like 'maybe' was 'OLD' Stock (or something).. (the 'grey' I believe the colour was)??; and another one..
Comfortable but not true to size. Runs small. I typically wear a womens XL/16-18. Got a 1x and it barely closes on me. Size up, especially if you have a behind!
This robe is well made and soft. The sizing was off though. I ordered one size up and I should have ordered like 2 sizes up. I’m not sure if that’s the style but I could barely close it. I do have a larger bust though. I’d be interested in seeing a robe in the fabric of the loungewear!!
