pillow protector that doesn't make noise

This protector doesn't have the uncomfortable slashing noise that many synthetic protectors have - wonder how effective it is allergen-wise?

I absolutely love each and every bedding item I purchased from Parachute; luxurious and high quality. Pillow protector worked great as well. However the only thing is I am not a big fan of zippers, and with this one the pull tab sticks out once the zipper is closed. I put a linen pillowcase on top of it as well but I still feel the pull tab underneath. If this design was changed it would be just flawless. However still 5 star for the quality.

Really enjoy my pillow but it not what I would call firm.

Really enjoy my pillow but it is not what I would call firm.

Very basic.

I ordered protectors to go with my new parachute pillows (which I really like). While there is nothing 'wrong' with the protectors, I wish they were a little more luxe given the price. I have had quite a few different protectors in the past few years as I have allergy sufferers in my household. When I compare these protectors with some older Ralph Lauren protectors from Macy's (good price but no longer stocked!) and even the claritin brand allergy one I bought at bed bath they don't really compare in terms of the fabric thickness/quality and the lack of 'piping' or reinforcement around the edges. These feel very basic to me and the cotton is not as smooth as others I have had. For the price, maybe organic or Oeko tex cotton and American made would be a nice touch.

A little snug, 2 out of 4 are doing great.

I really wanted to love these as I really like Parachute's products. These pillow protectors are soft, but the stitching around the zipper isn't great. I had one of them tear about an inch when I first put it on a standard pillow. I had another one tear on me a few months later after taking them off, washing and drying them on delicate with mild detergent and parachute wool balls. I bought these a few months before I had to use them so it was past their normal return window. Right now the two of the four have tears, so they're on the guest bed and they will do for now.

Good news/bad news

The good news is putting this duvet cover on our down duvet has stopped my husband’s allergy symptoms. The bad news is it is cut smaller than the usual king and the down bunches up inside so looks uneven and creates areas with no down at all and other areas with too much down

A Little Broken Hearted

Have made quite a few Parachute purchases because of the stand-out quality and manufacturing sources, but to my abject dismay, when the pillow protectors arrived I learned that they were made in China. No more Parachute for me.

Too heavy

I returned these and the duvet protector for the same reason, fabric too heavy and I could feel the zipper. Didn’t like.
