We all love the soft cozy texture of Parachute’s “Cloud” linens so much that I bought them in several colors for our bed and for everyone else’s bed in our family as well. Love the Dune color especially - the overall effect is a cheery rose-coral that coordinates perfectly with their other Clay sheets and shams. Never slept better!
There were lots of loose threads right out of the package and they shed lint much too readily. The material seems like it will snag easily due to the nature of the weave, I've only washed and dried once and am curious how it will last or age. I was hoping for these to feel like Muji's layered gauze textile and they do not. This is thicker, the weave is much less fine, and much more scratchy. I definitely would not use them as my primary pillow to put my face on, but they look nice as a decorative sham that I then use as sort of a body pillow. I veer between liking and hating how rough it feels compared to my pima cotton percale (not from Parachute, overall I'm disappointed with my order and won't be buying again anytime soon)
I love my new quilt. Color and quality are wonderful. Unfortunately, I sleep with a little white bulldog and no matter how short I keep her nails, she snags this beautiful quilt. No fault of the product, my fault because I love a little white dog.
