While these sheets are aesthetically beautiful and relatively comfortable, I would not recommend them to a friend. My biggest complaint is that the fabric sheds - like A LOT. And not just until the first wash but constantly. I have followed the care instructions to the letter, even using a wool ball instead of dryer sheets. Still, I have had the sheets for 6 months and orange fuzz continues to litter my home and fill my dryer’s lint box after every wash. I have probably lost half of the fabric already, they are at the point that they are see-through. I’m not impressed with the quality and these sheets are becoming more of nuisance than anything else. A smaller qualm, but worth noting, is that the sheets sleep hot. Not the biggest turn off, but not what I was looking for either. I really wanted to love them, will sadly not buy again or recommend.

We received a linen sheet set from Parachute as a gift a handful of years ago - they were thick and held up beautifully. I ordered a replacement fitted sheet several weeks ago and was disappointed with how much thinner and scratchier it felt compared to what we received before, but figured we'd give it a shot. Terrible decision. Three months later the sheet is practically disintegrating and has multiple holes. Truly the worst quality sheet I've ever owned.
So sad to write this review as my initial response to the quality and aesthetic of parachute baby bedding was positive. A little over a year of owning this crib sheet the fabric pilled, showed signs of fabric deterioration and finally began to shred. When bringing this to Parachute customer service’s attention the response was offensive. Customer care told me I shouldn’t wash my toddler’s sheets frequently, wash only on gentle cycle and that the fabric deterioration with 16 months of use was “normal”. First of all, I ordered linen. Linen is extremely durable and should retain its soft nature over years of use, there is a reason that Belgian linen bedding is passed from generation to generation. Second, for the price of Parachute I should be satisfied with the quality and durability. Again, this is toddler bedding, meant for frequent use and washing, it should hold its quality and appearance. So sad that this company was not what I thought it was.
So I don’t find the sheets as scratchy as many of the reviewers did, but the fuzzies are INSANE. If you wear white socks to bed, in the morning they are covered in black pilling. Shaking out the duvet cover, there are so many fuzzy bits you have to sweep up after. All that I could put up with, except now only 5 washings in, they’re going threadbare! I can see the white from the mattress cover coming through in spots. I am so incredibly bummed.
I received two sets of sheets from parachute a little over a year ago. One is ok, the other was much thinner right when it arrived. I was a little concerned but given good reviews I kept it. Big mistake. It got thinner and thinner over time and eventually developed holes that turned into fist sized holes. I used the sheet sparingly, I have an all natural mattress, I use all natural mild detergent and often air dried (or dried on low with wool balls). These sheets are by far the worst quality sheets I have ever had, and that’s including random ones from the thrift store. I can’t believe I spent this much money on them. On top of that, when I finally reached out to customer service (I kept pushing it back because of pandemic related business etc), they said they don’t guarantee a certain amount of time the sheets will last and I probably didn’t properly take care of them. With so many other amazing competitors, seriously avoid them. So disappointed.
We bought our sheets in June of 2020, we loved them at first but by Jan 2021 they had worn super thin and got a giant tear. Since we spent so much money on them, we were really careful and always washed on cold and gentle, and air dried them. It was easily the most upkeep we put into our sheets, and so I wish they would have at least lasted a year.
We've had three sets of Parachute linen sheets over the years. The newest set is so much thinner than the previous sheets. It just seems much poorer quality material. I contacted support and they said yes, the newer linen is made thinner to be softer. I want linen sheets that last, these new ones will not. Feel I paid same premium cost for a not so premium product. Would not purchase again.
Very poor quality ! Washed once and all threads started to peel out ! Waste of money . Now it looks like 10 year old cloth - you don’t get that new feel at all , those linen sheets gets rough texture after washing - you get an annoying feel to sleep on it. Customer service is even worse - couldn’t get hold of anyone via calling ! I regret buying from here - would never ever waste my money on this website again. I wish I can give 0 star.
I am so disappointed in this expensive linen sheet set. I carefully followed cleaning instructions and they are staining. After reading other reviews it looks like I’m not the only one. Now I get to wait until they shred and fall apart too. Definitely not worth the price.
