Skimpy Cut

The linen feels great, the color is gorgeous. The problem is that it feels like they are trying to use as little fabric as possible, which means a skimpy cut, especially for an XL sized robe. The cut has an extra once or so in the chest but then tapers in the hips. This is probably fine for a man but women have curves and the robe is not made to wrap around them.

Cutest ever- can only wear once

I bought these to get ready in on my wedding day and they were SO cute. Perfect color, seemingly great material. Expensive but I thought, hey, worth it. The next week, I followed washing instructions and it’s shriveled, forever wrinkly, and the tie shrunk to half its size. Cant wear it again which is very sad and such a waste.

Sizing is an issue

Disappinted with the product. Nice quality but sizing is off for sure. The cut is very narrow. Based on the sizing guidance including the models I ordered a small. I returned it for a large. Not a comfortable fit although wearable.

Odd fitting thing

It's a strange cut. There isn't enough material to close the upper portion completely. The pockets are sewn on each outer most hip area which makes it seem as though I have an old grandma body and the length ending way down at mid calf is weird. Material is nice 6' 175lbs size large

Comfy, but shrank a lot when hand washing in cold water.

Good not great

I have several robes from Parachute and, while this is nice, it’s my least favorite. Mostly Bc the belt. Because it’s linen, it gets folded up and wrinkled into a narrow rope and becomes nearly unusable. I hate it. And so I paid all this money and barely wear this robe. Just buy the cloud cotton instead— its glorious.

Not for curvy gals

Quality is lovey. Unfortunately, This robe fits nicely from the waist up but is cut for men and does not account for the existence of hips. The size chart won’t tell you that, so I will.

Awkward Fit and Proportions

I was really excited about this robe, but it's a big no no for me. The linen is nice, runs on the thin side though and would wear out faster than a sturdier weave. I ordered a size M, which I thought might be a bit on the looser side for me. For reference I am 5'5", size S/M top and L/8-10 bottom. The ratios are all over the place. The cut is very long so the robe was down to my ankles. The waist is very low, so there's a lot of excess at the top. The top half is very bulky, there's too much fabric, sleeves are too long, while the bottom half is too narrow. I have slightly wide hips, so I can't actually get full coverage all the way down because the fit is actually v narrow . Overall awkward and not properly sized item for women or ppl w/ more curves. I suppose it would be fine for men or taller ppl, in which case there would need to be a diff cut for women. Or at least add a slit at the back for more dynamic fit.

Post 1 Year Review

I’m 5’0” ~120lbs and bought this robe as well as many other linen pieces in Bone a little over a year ago. The robe is pretty long on me but does not touch the floor. Overall it is lightweight but truthfully in the year I’ve worn it a total of maybe 3 times. The linen feel on my skin was a bit rough and I know after a few washes it improves. However, unlike the other linen pieces since this has a little thicker bordering and is longer the wrinkling on it is just too much effort to take out. I really do not like ironing and steaming isn’t as effective. I usually don’t mind wearing my clothes wrinkled but this is one that just looks frumpy if not.

Wanted to love it…

Honestly, my husband hates it and I wish I could return it considering how much it was. I washed it per the directions hoping to get the soft linen feeling, but it remains stiff and uncomfortable to wear.
