A little lighter than expected but perfect with the parachute quilt.
Coverlet is too long and wide for my modern platform bed. Will try queen size instead.
Nice quality but sizing is off on the Cal King size to use it as a bed spread. The sides don’t go down far enough to cover the sheets. It would be fine at the end of the bed.
First, the good part: it is beautiful and it looks great on my king bed. However, it cannot be washed at home. It is so heavy that my (very large) washing machine stopped spinning. So I had this huge, heavy, super heavy item that I had to leave in the garden to dry and then take to the cleaners. Just take that into account, adding the cleaners’ bill (35$ in my case) to the price
My son likes it and it is more lightweight which is what we were looking for. I just imagined it would be a lot softer than it is.
I added the blanket on top of my parachute quilt and it’s perfect for this warm Austin weather. The matelasse blanket is a bit rough so my only complaint is I prefer a bit softer of a topper.
Ordered this in pebble grey to use in Southern California. Wanted something that could be used with just a sheet for the warmer months and to layer under our quilt in winter. Color was different than expected- an off-white almost blue(?) And definitely NOT the grey I was expecting. Weight-wise it should be perfect but I'll be curious as to how well it holds up in the long run.
After reading reviews, I guess I expected more for the price. I feel I could buy something very similar quality and look for half the price. I do like it!
I really loved this and I am so upset with myself. I washed this with my sheets and the cover picked up the color of my sheets and faded the cover.
I had high hopes for this. It looks great on the bed, unfortunately, the texture is too “rough” to be used for a blanket. We use it for the look/style during the day, and remove it when we sleep. Expected a softer cotton/higher quality from Parachute.
