Taking care of home, people and planet.

We've always made premium quality, long-lasting, natural fiber home essentials.

This approach of conscious consumption drives us to deepen our commitments to people and planet. Because we believe you should feel as good about purchasing our products as you do when using them in everyday life.

Climate + Earth

There’s no place like Earth, so we’re going carbon neutral and introducing circular programs – designed for material reuse and recovery.

Climate Neutral Certified: We are committed to becoming certified carbon neutral by Earth Day 2022. We will measure our emissions (including our entire supply chain across scopes 1, 2 and 3), offset 100% of our footprint with verified carbon credits, and implement 2+ medium-term reduction goals – including 1 science-aligned target, which limits our emissions in alignment with the Paris Agreement.

Introducing Circular Programs: In 2022, we’ll launch our first circular program – the Recycled Down Pillow – which is made of sanitized down from returned Parachute pillows with a recycled cotton shell.

Responsible Materials

From farm to finish – we’re deepening our commitment to a more sustainable supply chain.

GOTS(R) Certified Products: Starting with our spring 2022 Organic Collection, a selection of our products will be GOTS(R) (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified – meaning the entire supply chain meets stringent ecological and social criteria set by the GOTS(R) organization, the gold standard for organic cotton certification. It certifies gin to finished products as being free of harmful chemicals, pesticides and residues.

Oeko-Tex(R) Certified Products: Our core products are Oeko-Tex(R) certified – meaning they have passed the highest criterion of testing for safety. They are free from high levels of over 100 harmful substances known to be dangerous to humans and the environment. Every component of the product is tested, from button to thread.

Responsible Down Standard(R) Materials: We purchase our down materials from an RDS-certified supplier, meaning the down comes from humanely treated ducks and geese, as well as upholds The Five Freedoms of animal welfare. Our down is also sustainably sourced as a byproduct of the food industry.

Forest Stewardship Council(R) Certified Wood: Starting in 2022, a selection of our furniture pieces will be FSC(R) certified – and in 2024 100% of our wood will be sustainably sourced, with over 50% FSC(R) certified. This certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.

Ethical Manufacturing

Responsibility is not just environmental, but social as well – and we have a responsibility to ensure we only work with ethical manufacturers.

Fair Trade(TM) Certified Products: Beginning in 2022, we are committed to sourcing only Fair Trade Certified rugs – meaning they meet rigorous social, environmental, and economic standards, including: safe working conditions, environmental protection, sustainable livelihoods and community development funds. We plan to expand our Fair Trade Certified assortment into more categories in the following year.

GOTS(R) Certified Products: The manufacturers of our GOTS(R) certified products must, at every step in the supply chain, meet criteria of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), and Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). This includes rules around workplace freedoms, child labor, discrimination, health and safety, harassment and violence, living wage gap, working time, precarious employment and migrant workers.

Diversity, Equity + Inclusion

We are committed to taking action towards anti-racism – and to meaningful, lasting change.

Home for Dreams: The Home for Dreams initiative was established in the fall of 2020. This mentorship and grant program aims to support Black-owned, product-centric businesses with capital, advisory meetings and brand amplification.

Representation (Platforms, Partners and Employees): Last year, over 50% of our paid influencer budget was dedicated to BIPOC, our percentage of BIPOC ambassadors increased from 19% to 35%, and 30% of our models were BIPOC. Internally, we’ve implemented more inclusive hiring practices – such as utilizing diversity job boards and requiring hiring bias trainings.

Learning and Development: We host quarterly DE&I education sessions led by expert speakers and internal teams, and send out an annual culture survey to gather feedback from the team on the effectiveness of our efforts.

We’re setting a course to improve our operations, sourcing, supply chain and brand. With each step we take, we see how much there is to do – and that this is a path of continuous improvement, not a set destination. Here are our commitments:
